The Payroll Administrator at InisCare plays a critical role in managing the payroll process and supporting the finance department. This position requires a meticulous and organized professional who ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with Irish tax laws, and efficient financial operations.
Responsibilities:
· Assisting with fortnightly & monthly payroll for all employees across several companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Irish tax and employment laws.
· Maintain payroll records and ensure all data is up-to-date and accurate.
· Handle payroll queries from employees and resolve any issues promptly.
· Manage employee benefits, pensions, and other deductions.
· Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to relevant authorities (e.g., Revenue Commissioners, stakeholders).
· Completing social welfare forms, salary certs, letters, and any other request as they arise
· Ensure all annual leave accruement is captured correctly and updated accordingly
· Ensure all Sick Leave is captured correctly and updated accordingly
· Registering new employees in an efficient manner
· Process employees leaving the company in an efficient manner
· Assist with finance responsibilities including invoicing, payments, purchase orders
· Provide general payroll and finance administrative support
· Other office administrative duties
Compliance and Reporting:
· Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory regulations and standards.
· Prepare and submit statutory filings
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Ad hoc
· Assisting with ad hoc projects to improve the current process in place
· Assist with auditing and compliance reports
· Any other tasks that management assign
Qualifications and Experience:
· Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar finance role is essential
· Proven track record with BrightPay a distinct advantage
· Solid understanding of payroll processes and Irish tax regulations.
· Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
· High attention to detail and accuracy.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Relevant qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field (e.g., Accounting Technician, IPASS certification) desirable not essential
· Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
