About the Role

Due to continuous business growth and an increase in Clients within the Payroll Division, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator. This job will be based in our Dublin office. The successful candidate will report to the Payroll Manager and will have ownership and responsibility for the prompt and accurate processing of client payroll(s), ensuring revenue compliance and adherence to all guidelines. This is a very client focused role with emphasis on providing excellent customer service.

The role will include, but will not be limited to the following:

  • Serving as a Payroll subject matter expert
  • Quickly and effectively familiarise yourself with our internal payroll platforms.
  • Handle the daily activities necessary to ensure accurate processing of client payroll (s).
  • Accurately calculating and entering of all amendments e.g. starters, leaver workload certs, deductions, allowances etc.
  • Liaising with clients regarding any payroll queries
  • Involvement in team wide cross training to ensure full understanding of all services provided by payroll department.
  • Evaluating processes and procedures for continuous improvement
  • Assist the Payroll manager in supporting the team where required
  • Assist with special projects related to the payroll function.
  • Continue to develop our payroll capability in terms of processes, capacity, efficiencies and service that we can bring to our clients
  • Keep current of regulatory changes impacting payroll services.
  • Ensure compliance with all Internal Controls.
  • Other duties as may be required • Support in the delivery of key projects.

About You

To be successful in this role you must show the commitment to superior service delivery expected by Aon and by our clients.

  • Minimum IPASS Qualification required
  • 2+ years payroll experience is required in processing high volume payrolls with regular changes
  • Knowledge of tax regulations.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS including intermediate to advanced Excel
  • Demonstrable experience of working to deadlines and performing duties under pressure.
  • Ensuring any tasks assigned are completed and feedback provided in a timely fashion .
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player with ability to prioritise and work independently.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, possessing the ability to effectively prioritise projects and deliverables whilst meeting deadlines set by management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and an ability to analyse and interrogate high volumes of data as well as demonstrating an ability to focus on higher level overview.
  • Operates with a high level of integrity, confidentiality, diplomacy and professionalism
  • Excellent time management, administration and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
