
Medical Council
The Medical Council is seeking a Payroll Administrator (Finance Executive) on a full-time permanent basis at Executive Officer grade to assist the Head of Finance in carrying out the Finance function in compliance with best practice and legislative requirements. The role will support the Finance function and deliver on relevant objectives in line with the Medical Council Strategy Statement.

Position Type: This appointment will be offered on a full-time permanent basis. A 6-Month probationary period applies to this appointment.
Salary: Starting salary will be at €31,384, which is the first point of the Executive Officer PayScale. If you are currently a serving civil or public servant, your entry point to the PayScale may be higher based on your current salary. There will be salary increment each year in line with the Executive Officer Grade PayScale and subject to satisfactory performance, until the maximum point on the scale has been reached. The rate of remuneration will not be subject to negotiation and may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy.
(Executive Officer PayScale – Starting Salary: €31,384, Year 2: €33,177, Year 3: €34,189, Year 4: €36,164, Year 5: €37,936, Year 6 €39,648, Year 7, €41,354, Year 8: €43,025, Year 9: €44,713, Year 10: €46,353, Year 11: €48,046, Year 12: €49,166, LS1 After 3 years at max of scale: €50,762, LS2: After 6 years at max of scale: €52,370)
Annual Leave: 23 working days plus public holidays
Hours: 37 hours per week, Mon-Fri.
Location: While The Medical Council’s offices are located at Kingram House, Kingram Place, Dublin 2, they are temporarily re-located to Europa House, Harcourt St, Dublin 2. We operate a hybrid working model with both remote working and some requirement for on-site attendance.
Pension: The Medical Council offers a pension through the Public Sector Scheme. Contributions to the scheme will commence on joining the organisation. Candidates currently working in the Public or Civil Service may transfer their pension.
