Payroll Associate

ICON PLC is recruiting a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Associate on a hybrid Permanent basis to join our thriving & growing team based in our Leopardstown HQ in Dublin.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate sound understandings of payroll systems and processes as well as being an effective communicator.

The responsibilities of the Payroll Associate role include but aren’t limited to:

  • End to end responsibility of monthly payrolls under your remit.
  • Inputs to payrolls are completed and that trial and final payroll outputs are checked prior to salary payments being made.
  • Upload electronic files and input any manual payments to the bank.
  • Manage the Payroll mailbox and employee queries.
  • Ensure that all monthly and annual tax, pension and compliance requirements are met.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting to internal and external auditors.

To be considered for the Payroll Associate position, you must have the following:

  • Previous payroll experience
  • Experience of Finance & Accounting processes as well as working in a Finance & Accounting environment.
  • Organized and able to work under pressure to strict deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service.
  • A good knowledge of EMEA payroll and Workday would be advantageous.
