The Role

Due to continuous business growth an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join the Finance & HR team at Entegro. This job will be based in our Kilkenny office with some scope for remote working. The successful candidate will report to the Group CFO and Head of HR. You will have ownership and responsibility for the prompt and accurate processing of all Payrolls (bi-weekly and monthly), ensuring rigorous revenue compliance and adherence to all guidelines. You will also be responsible for efficient administration of all Payroll elements and benefits to include Pensions, Bonuses, Allowances and expense re-imbursement.

This role is a full-time requirement.

What you’ll need to succeed

You will need to have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role ideally with experience of Sage, Thesaurus, or similar. You will need excellent attention to detail, strong organisational and communication skills and an advanced working knowledge of Excel. You will have a positive attitude to work and be solution based in your approach to any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Processing monthly and bi-weekly payrolls for each jurisdiction with strict adherence to deadlines.
  • Process new hires, terminations, status changes, pay rate changes for each jurisdiction of operation.
  • Maintaining all Payroll records on Thesaurus & Sage and production of Reports.
  • Payroll Revenue submissions – All ROS and HMRC reports and submissions.
  • Ensure statutory payroll requirements are met through research validation of local payroll legislation and annual updates.
  • Implement current and correct statutory payroll requirements for each jurisdiction.
  • Complete control of payroll jurisdictions to ensure correct payroll calculations are met.
  • Acting as point of contact for employees and stakeholders relating to all legislative payroll requirements for each jurisdiction.
  • Assistance for employees when re-locating.
  • Assist with process improvements and standardisation.
  • Liaise with HR to ensure payroll have all necessary information.
  • Work with finance to prepare and review monthly journals – to run cost allocation reports and ensure all necessary reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
  • Manage the relationship with our external payroll providers in any applicable countries.
  • Involvement with Annual Returns and other statutory filings.

Desirable Criteria:

  • IPASS Qualification.
  • Experience of Thesaurus, Sage or similar.
  • Previous experience in Finance / Revenue / HR.
  • Recent experience of processing of large payroll.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent Excel Skills.
