AnnMarie leads the payroll outsourced team in Grant Thornton providing support services to both international and indigenous Irish businesses. She has 15+ years’ experience having joined Grant Thornton in 2014 and previously worked with a number of large accountancy practices within the payroll bureau teams.

Her experience extends to assisting employers with payroll reporting on a wide range of employee benefits including share rewards, various incentives and ex-gratia payments. She has also implemented submission and reporting procedures to assist employers with new benefit reporting requirements (Enhanced Reporting Requirements – ERR) introduced on 1 January 2024.

AnnMarie also successfully led Grant Thornton’s outsource payroll service offering through ISO 270001 Certification in IT Security Management.

AnnMarie holds both an IPASS Payroll Technician qualification and Diploma in Payroll Management.

Jennifer is responsible for the operational management of the firm’s payroll division which comprises a large and diverse portfolio of clients. Jennifer has significant experience in the onboarding and implementation of payroll systems for a wide variety of multi-nationals, SME’s, public and private sector organisations.

Jennifer is uniquely familiar with the practical, operational and reporting dynamics associated with this work. Jennifer operates a hotline facility to her clients and provides specialist advice on all payroll matters including legislative updates as they emerge.

Jennifer holds an IPASS diploma in payroll management. Prior to joining Forvis Mazars she worked as Payroll EMEA manager for a large multinational. Her duties include:

• Oversight of implementation of all client payrolls which ensures a smooth transition and a bespoke reporting function that meets her client’s needs;
• Ongoing monitoring of internal controls and IT security;
• Dealing with employee and employer queries and liaising with Revenue in relation to taxation matters arising;
• Extract reports and reconfigure information to client specification;
• International payroll co-ordination for clients across multiple jurisdictions;
• Audit of payrolls (Audit clients) and on-site review for client’s internal payrolls.

John Vickery has been an education consultant since 2016. John has undertaken consultancy work for Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI), Higher Education Authority (HEA), Technological Universities and independent private providers.

John was previously Head of the Certification Body for the International Project Management Association (IPMA) in Ireland until 2023 and a former member of the IPMA Education and Training Board.

John was Registrar of the Institute of Technology now part of TUDublin from 2004 until 2016. He joined IT Tallaght when it opened in 1992 as Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department. John is a Chartered Engineer a Fellow of Engineers Ireland and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. He is a former Chairperson of the Mechanical Division of Engineers Ireland and the Republic of Ireland Branch of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

A firm believer in continuing education John throughout his career has undertaken personal development programmes e.g. Leadership Development, Corporate Governance, and Innovation (TRIZ Advanced programmes in the Netherlands). John has published research papers on manufacturing processes and was editor of the “Proceedings of the 22^nd International Manufacturing Conference, Challenges Facing Manufacturing 2005”.

John has continued to lecture on project management in Ireland and universities in China.

Elaine O’Doherty, with her robust educational background holding a BSc and a Diploma in IT, serves as the Chief Financial Officer at ODoherty.Biz Limited. Her extensive experience spans over 15 years, specifically within the in-house Payroll Support Team, showcasing her dedication and expertise in financial management. As a qualified IPASS Payroll Technician, Elaine brings a wealth of knowledge to her role.
