Role Overview

We are looking to add to our growing Client Payroll Team and are seeking a Part-Time Payroll Specialist. This role is ideal for an experienced payroll professional who is eager to further progress their career in a fast-paced payroll bureau environment.

As a Payroll Specialist within the Firm your role will include a broad range of duties:

Payroll Processing

• Prepare weekly and fortnightly payrolls using Collsoft software, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Review timesheets for accuracy before uploading to payroll software.
• Calculate holiday pay and statutory payments (e.g., sick pay, maternity pay, paternity pay).
• Calculate and process benefits in kind for inclusion in payroll.
• Maintain pension contribution records and upload reports to pension providers where required.
• Assist with bank transfers for salary payments.
• Distribute payslips on or before the payment date.
• Submit monthly PAYE returns to Revenue
• Manage a dedicated portfolio of payroll clients.
• Support the delivery of payroll services to a diverse portfolio, including domestic and international clients, ensuring work meets professional standards and agreed timeframes.
• Liaise with clients throughout the year to maintain strong relationships.

About You

• You will have at least 2 – 3 years’ experience
• You are IPASS qualified
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of payroll
• Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to manage multiple engagements
• You will be motivated by a fast-paced environment
• You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• You will have excellent planning and organisational ability
