The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Payroll & HR solutions within the Ireland and UK markets. As a Technical Product Manager at Ayphen Technologies, you will have the chance to lead innovative projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive the development of cutting-edge software products. You will be at the forefront of ensuring our solutions meet regional compliance standards and address the unique needs of our clients. This role offers a unique blend of technical challenge and strategic influence, providing you with the platform to make a significant impact on the growth and success of our product offerings.
In This Role, You’ll Get to:
- Own the product from concept to design, specification, implementation, and analysis.
- Gather and synthesize requirements and input from multiple stakeholders (internal product teams, engineers, business teams, etc.).
- Lead in-person conversations with internal and external customers to understand users, priorities, and feature considerations.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and execution skills, to drive product development projects from concept to launch, and operate in a fast- paced setting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills. Expected to be asking questions, listening, driving team alignment, and influencing without authority across all levels of the organization.
- Bridge business and technical worlds very well, a good conceptual problem solver to articulate opportunities and solutions.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and optimal resource allocation.
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to inform future development and improvements.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape to ensure our products remain cutting-edge and competitive.
- Facilitate cross-functional team meetings to align on product goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical product management, preferably in a SaaS or ERP environment, with a focus on HR & Payroll solutions.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts. The ability and positive mindset to “figure things out.”
- Project Management: Proven track record of managing product development projects from concept to launch.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey product vision and requirements to diverse audiences.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Regional Knowledge: In-depth understanding of HR & Payroll regulations and compliance requirements in Ireland and the UK.
- Customer Focus: A strong customer-centric mindset, with the ability to understand and anticipate customer needs and translate them into product features.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales.
- Innovation: A passion for innovation and continuous improvement, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
- Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
