Associate – Payroll & Bookkeeping

Landmark Accounting Limited is a growing midlands based accountancy practice providing accounting taxation and advisory services to owner managed businesses. We have offices across Meath, Longford, Westmeath and Dublin.

The roles we have at present are full-time to join our team as an Associate on our Accounting Team. One role is available and based in Trim and a second role is available in Longford.

This role involves ensuring the accurate and timely completion of payroll & bookkeeping assignments and to assist the payroll manager, bookkeeping manager and partners on allocated assignments.

Requirements

• IPASS & IATI qualified with preferably three years practice experience

• Client facing experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organisational skills

• Ability to handle multiple clients while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

• Technologically proficient

• Working knowledge of Bright Pay, Bright Books / Bright Accounts Production and ROS and advantage

The Role involves

• Processing payroll records for a portfolio of clients on a weekly, fortnightly, monthly and annual basis across multiple business sectors

• Preparing and reconciling payroll and pension returns as required. Completion of online bank salary payments as required

• Preparing VAT returns and associated bookkeeping to trial balance stage for a portfolio of clients.

• Completing off-site payroll and bookkeeping for clients as required.

• Assisting the accounts and bookkeeping departments as required

• Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines across multiple clients to ensure timely delivery of all financial and tax outputs

• Support clients and deal with queries efficiently. Liaise with bookkeepers, trainees, outsourced teams and administrative staff to gather and validate information.
