Join Our Growing Team!
οΏ½
οΏ½ Merrion Square, Dublin 2 πŸ•’ Full-time / Part-time Options Available πŸ“… Apply by Monday,
2nd October 2026
Why This Role Exists
Our payroll service is growing fast β€” and growing fast means we need someone who can be trusted
with the numbers, the deadlines, and the people behind them. If you love the satisfaction of a
payroll run that lands perfectly, on time, every time, this is your kind of team.

About Us
At Production Operations, we power two leading brands in Ireland’s creative and production
landscape:
● The Production People β€” sourcing top-tier production staff and technical crew for the
Broadcast, Media, Audiovisual and Live Events industries.
● Casting Ireland β€” connecting Ireland’s best Actors, Models, Extras and Performers with a
wide range of productions.

We also operate a rapidly expanding Payroll Service, supporting freelancers, production companies,
and internal staff across the cultural and creative industries. Our payroll function is central to our
reputation for accuracy, trust, and exceptional service β€” and we’re now looking for a detail-oriented
Bookkeeper & Payroll Specialist to join us.

The Role
You’ll work closely with our recruitment, casting, and operations teams to keep payroll and financial
processes running smoothly, giving employees, freelancers, and clients a service they can rely on. A
year in, you’ll be the person the whole team trusts to get payroll right, week in and week out β€” and
you’ll have helped us sharpen the systems behind it as we grow.
What You’ll Do
● Process weekly and fortnightly payrolls accurately and on schedule
● Maintain and update employee and contractor records
● Ensure compliance with Irish tax regulations, employment law, and industry-specific
requirements
● Handle payroll queries with professionalism, clarity, and discretion
● Support accounting processes such as reconciliations, reporting, and financial administration
● Liaise with Revenue, internal teams, and external partners
● Help us improve payroll and finance workflows as the business grows

About You
You’re accurate, organised, and committed to a high standard of service β€” and you take real pride in
getting the details right.
Essential Experience & Skills
● Previous payroll/accounting experience (ideally 2+ years), with a relevant qualification (AAT,
IPASS, or equivalent)
● Strong understanding of Irish payroll legislation, taxation, and compliance
● Experience using payroll and accounting software (e.g. Collsoft, QuickBooks, or similar)
● Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
● Strong communication and organisational skills
● Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
A Big Plus
● IPASS accreditation (or actively working towards your IPASS qualification) β€” we’re especially
keen to hear from candidates who hold, or are studying towards, an IPASS Payroll
Techniques Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent. We’re happy to support continued study
once you’re on the team.
Desirable
● Experience in Production Accounting or Financial Administration within the cultural or
creative industries
● Understanding of the Irish Arts sector and relevant legislative developments
● Experience managing contractor/freelancer payments

Welcoming Returners & Those Seeking Flexibility
We recognise that talented people take different career paths and may need a supportive
environment when re-entering the workplace. The position is fulltime but we would be open to a job
sharing option if circumstances allow.
Location β€” Merrion Square, Dublin 2
Our office is based in the heart of Merrion Square β€” one of Dublin’s most attractive and accessible
locations, with excellent transport links (bus, rail, DART, Luas) and a vibrant creative atmosphere.

What We Offer
● Competitive salary (DOE)
● A supportive, friendly, and collaborative work environment
● Flexibility and hybrid working options
● Ongoing training and career development β€” including support for IPASS study
● A meaningful role in an exciting and expanding creative industry
