The Role:
At EisnerAmper Ireland, we love doing great work. We are seeking a high calibre, experienced and passionate Payroll Manager to join our Tax Department. EisnerAmper currently has 14 partners and employs over 100+ professionals.
What you will be doing:
You can expect to be a key member of our Tax team:
Managing and executing the delivery of payroll services to a portfolio of clients to include:
- Registering employers for payroll taxes
- Manage end-to-end payroll including the processing of payroll calculations and payroll taxes due to the Revenue Commissioners taking into account new starters, leavers, variable pay, BIKs (including share awards), other additions, and all deductions including pension, cycle to work, tax saver etc.
- Providing payslips, reports and summaries to clients as requested/required
- Prepare and submit statutory returns and reports to Revenue and other relevant authorities together with setting up payment instructions on the client’s behalf in respect of payroll related deductions due
- Dealing with payroll queries arising from clients as well as various administrative duties which including invoicing clients and cash collection in respect of payroll services
- Ensure compliance with all payroll-related laws including PAYE, PRSI and pension contributions
- Maintain and update payroll systems and records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
- Managing, supporting and developing the payroll team
- Managing and co-ordinating work in progress to ensure efficient and timely execution of payrolls
- Liaising with colleagues within the tax department in respect of employment advisory assignments
Who are we looking for?
Management experience working in a payroll bureau and / or in a professional Firm environment providing payroll services. Experience and proficiency working with Sage Payroll and Excel, and IPASS qualified or equivalent. Good knowledge of all aspects of payroll processing, including understanding the treatment of all pay elements such as pensions, share awards, BIK etc. Excellent organisation and time management skills. Demonstrated attention to detail. Previous experience in managing and developing a team.
