The Position

We wish to appoint a trainee to work in the Payroll Outsourcing Services department of Mazars.  Mazars has a dedicated outsourced payroll bureau that provides payroll service solutions to its clients ranging from multinational companies to owner managed businesses and to public sector bodies. Within the firm, the payroll services division provides the following services:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Scheduling work to strict deadlines
  • Daily receipt and processing of payroll information
  • Issue of payslips
  • Dealing with client queries
  • Management of time incurred on payroll processing
  • Full training program will be provided to ideal candidate
  • The payroll trainee will report to the payroll manager within the payroll division
  • Processing payroll information on Europay Payroll System
  • Filing of Revenue returns on line ROS
  • Liaising with clients
  • Liaising with Revenue Commissioners
  • General administration duties

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Knowledge of computerised payroll systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work effectively to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Effective organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Experience of Europay payroll package an advantage
  • Previous payroll experience an advantage
  • Successful candidate must be IPASS qualified or prepared to complete IPASS course as part of their training contract
