Job Overview
Payroll is an important part of this role, the holder of this position must have ability to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates. Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transaction, reports into Tracey Dollard, Chief Operating Officer.

Financial Accountant Responsibilities:

  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
  • Conducting internal audits.
  • Overseeing tax payments.
  • Preparing budgets for the organization.
  • Monitoring and reporting on accounting inconsistencies.
  • Keeping up to date with financial policies, practices, and regulations.

Management Accounts and Auditing

  • Prepare, validate, and present monthly management accounts to CEO and COO inclusive of summary report
  • Ensure company accounts are up to date and complete and take full responsibility for accuracies in accounting journals, ledgers, and entries.
  • Ensure systems and procedures are in place to maximise month on month revenue for the company including oversight of invoicing process
  • Continually validate financial trackers and models for accuracy based on sales forecasts and information received

Global Payroll Infrastructure

  • Ongoing management of Ireland payroll ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant tax and employee benefit systems.
  • Management of agency payrolls in other Zevo Health jurisdictions and be able to report on same.
  • Accurate and timely onboarding and offboarding of employees
  • Researching and supporting implementation of global payroll partnerships to support strategic growth of the business
  • Accurate record keeping in accordance with legal obligations
  • Providing audit support as appropriate including complication and presentation of payroll reports and records.

Strategic Financial Planning

  • Support CEO and COO in building organisational strategies through financial modelling and forecasting
  • Use reporting to make data-driven decisions.

Financial Procedures and Systems

  • Ensure appropriate financial controls are in place throughout the organisation.
  • Provide in-house training and develop new systems to ensure maximum efficiency in financial systems

Revenue Efficiency and Compliance

  • Prepare, present and file all necessary regulatory and legal returns
  • Research opportunities to optimise efficient tax compliance
  • Assist external accounting firm in all matters relating to audit and tax compliance
