o’donnell+co chartered accountants, based in Limerick, is now recruiting a Payroll Administrator to join our team. “Remote working” options are available to the successful candidate.
We are a chartered accountancy practice with clients based around Ireland. We provide outsource bookkeeping and payroll bureau services to our clients as well as the normal statutory reporting for clients and Income Tax compliance work for sole traders.

Key Duties and Responsibilities for this role

  • Processing monthly and weekly payrolls for our clients.  This will include everything required in a normal weekly/monthly payroll process such as adding new hires, dealing with Leavers, BIK, Pension, Revenue submissions etc
  • Setup bank payment files where required
  • Issuing payslips on pay-date
  • Liaise with clients on all payroll-related matters
  • Issuing reports, payslips and ad hoc reports as requested
  • Monitoring and managing any Revenue-related matters

Key Skills

  • PASS qualification or equivalent is desirable
  • Good working knowledge of Irish payroll legislation
  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Experience of using MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook
  • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload
  • Good problem solving skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Prior experience using Collsoft would be ideal (but not necessary) or such other payroll software
