Description

Twohig & Co Accountants are a medium sized firm based in Douglas. We are seeking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to assist with the smooth running of the payroll & bookkeeping function in the practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a largescale payroll for multiple clients.

Duties:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely end to end processing of both monthly and weekly payroll for various clients.
  • Completing control checks prior to transmitting the final monthly payment
  • Maintaining the payroll systems for new employees, leavers, annual leave, absences, etc.
  • ROS Administration in particular requirements for the PAYE modernisation
  • Assist with maintaining employee receivable records
  • You will be responsible for generating various payroll and time card reports
  • Dealing with questions and problems from clients regarding payroll issues
  • Assist with the general ledger account reconciliation and payroll analytical reviews
  • Processing of Bi-Monthly VAT returns.

Requirements:

  • Payroll experience in dealing with weekly and monthly payrolls for multiple clients
  • IPASS qualified preferred but not essential
  • Experience in processing Income Tax returns an advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiastic, confident and self-starting individual
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail

Job Type:- Full-time

Salary:- €25,000 – €30,000
