Redundancy and Termination Payments

This half day course deals with the legislation covering Redundancy and Termination Payments. It outlines the main provisions of the Redundancy Payment Acts and explains how these principles are applied. It also covers the tax treatment of termination payments. The course is delivered in a down to earth practical manner and it highlights the most common problems which employers have to contend with and offers practical solutions. It also highlights where PRSI overpayments can arise in respect of termination payments and an employer’s obligation to report termination payments to Revenue. The course includes a question and answer session and a comprehensive course manual is provided. This half day course will answer many of your unanswered questions.

This course will be delivered by an IPASS payroll consultant who has unrivalled knowledge and experience in the operation of the PAYE system.
